My 24 month old has been attending regular speech therapy for 2 months and had tubes put in his ears to help drain fluid that was blocking him from hearing properly. This surgery was about a month ago. He is otherwise a normal child except he doesnt talk and He doesn't like to play with other children much but he likes to play with adults. He says mama, daddy, up, milk (he says mi) and more. He understands some commands. Q. Alright, I have P.D.D. and may have Asperger's. I want to finish college but unfortunately after losing my retail job of 3 years I have zero income and my savings is running out. I wanted to join the U.S. Military but they do not accept people with P.D.D. My parents gave up on helping me because they do not know what to do. I tried to explain to them; however, that just frustrated them even more. Now, I sit here worried about income and starting Fall 2010. Is there any assistance program for someone with my disability? Does anyone know?
